Yeah but that isn't the demon Slaine has captive.

Is it really that big a leap of imagination to assume that if one demon survived the battle, then others may also have escaped or been captured?

I guess it's just the jump in the story that makes you question where this demon came from. Felt like a episode was missing but sometimes it's up to the reader to fill in the missing gaps.

It's specifically the sea demons that have been destroyed, not every demon everywhere.
