Bolt --

I think I've got that issue. If no-one else gets it first, I'll sort you out a scan this evening.

IIRC "Tales from the Doghouse" used an S/D meter as the first panel in most stories.

Heh - I thought Logan might beat me to it :-)

However, I've got three other scans to give you some more material to work from. The first two are from the Stronty classic, "Outlaw" & the third is - as UKD remembers - the first frame from "Tales from the Doghouse (each story featured a different "target").

It's worth noting that the first pic from "Outlaw" is of Wulf's meter, while the second is Johnny's. You'll also see that the second is from a flashback to the scene in Logan's scan, but I thought it was worth throwing in as it's a bit larger & clearer. All three are quite different from each other, so if you wanted to get really into it you could imagine that each Dog has his own meter, perhaps customising one basic model or buying a different "brand" off the shelf.

It's also interesting to see quite how close these devices are to modern PDAs (very forward-thinking design from Ezquerra especially). My personal favourite is the one with the Kreelman readout, and you can imagine it as being the size of a large iPod, with a nice big touchscreen display and a wireless hook-up to the Doghouse computers. Wulf's is suitably clunky, with its thick body and fat keys - just the kind of thing a man who still uses a warhammer would pick!

No worries, Bolt. Hope they prove to be of use & just shout if you need anything else.
