i'll just retreat back to the drawing board

Bah! You should post *more* and kick Dom's arse for the odd hello from him too. I was just thinking the other day how much I used to look forward to the Wednesday night Chatnet sessions and how great they were(#) until Mongo fucked things up for everyone.

(#) This does *not* include the infamous 'bunny photo' and the banning of any mention of trannies or comedy lady-boys by said scary person.

"like HELLBLAZER?"

Yes, I actually wasn't being cynical, I think he might do well, Hellblazer forces people to write real life characters, whereas it's hard to write gun-toting character realisically (which is why Tarantino is good and many who followed aren't). By the way, you are the best in the business at drawing guns pointing at the reader, just as well really.

Oh, and Andy gave me my first strip.

Well I've enjoyed The Losers although I think it is Jock's art that makes it special (see being nice is easy ;) ).

Anyway I was just popping in to note that he is signed up to Virgin Comics' "Director's cut" line with Guy Ritchie to write "The Gamekeeper". I think you can bet your asses there will be heists and guns galore. I have to say I more intrigued by the other one in the series: Garth Ennis/John Woo on "7 Brothers".

And if  Jock isn't too chained to his drawing board and while we are talking about Andy Diggle - how is Green Arrow: Year One shaping up?

Whenever I read about this particular creative team, I can't help but think of Trumpton.

"Pugh, Pugh, Barney McGrew, Andy Diggle and Jock"...

I've sure Steve Pugh is sitting expectantly by his phone.

"I've sure Steve Pugh is sitting expectantly by his phone."

Heh, that did cross my mind, but I couldn't think of anyone who'd rhyme with "Barney McGrew"...
