TBH I don't know whether I feel like going on with the EE's.

I liked the art on Time Flies but it really shows its age with all the 90's in jokes and was good for half an hour but I really felt like it was scraping the bottom of the barrel. I dread to think what next issue is going to be: Balls Brothers, Junker...?

Surely all the good stuff is going to be left for novel releases?

Oh yeah and the colouring on the second installment of TF's was, quite frankly, fucking awful!!!

I frickin love Philip Bonds art....

His Wried World in Deadline was the best thing in it (along with Hugo Tate)..

His wimmin are bloody georgous and I'd love him to do an Anderson strip in 2000ad.

He did a story in A1 (endless summer I think it was) that is one of my all time favourite comic tales ever.

As for Time Flies, I might buy this tosh just for the art, 'caus the story sucks big ones.

I bought this and still enjoyed the first one which I'd read before. Nice art and some daft funny moments.

But the second story is fucking diabolical. I cant believe this got published once never mind a reprint. I wasn't reading 2K at the time and thank Jebus for that if this is anything to go by.

Was Ennis the only person writing for the comic back then cos I cant see any other reason for it getting past the Ed.

1st story : Worth a look
2nd story : Utter Dross!
Hmm, just pretend I wrote something witty eh?

Well according to David bishops thrill power overload it was bought and paid for which meant it had to be reprinted reguardless of how bad it was.

I think TFII was commissioned in 1990 or 1991. The fact it didn't see print for another five or six years speaks volume. When I took over as editor the head of finance informed me TFII had to be published in order to get it off the stocklist - one of those like it or lump it situations. Lovely art, but - as Garth is usually first to say - shite scripts.

never liked it first time.
did nothing for me this time either.

but still makes the EE a  brillant blind sub option, the sheer no standard format of reprint type. makes it a must have.

did not like BIX either, but enjoyed having the chance to try it one more time.
I AM VERY BUSY!
PJ Maybe and I use the same dictionary, live with it.

NO 2000ad no life!

Yeah, I'm with DeeDee here. I like the random choice factor, presenting material that I wouldn't have chosen to read otherwise.

That said...to save me digging out the progs, Dead Meat please!

if I went 'round saying I was an Emperor just because some moistened bint had lobbed a scimitar at me, they'd put me away!

Always loved Mr Bond's work, it would be good to read these collected, never got as far as EE 19 unfortunately
I will name him Tharg, and I will hug him and pet him and squeeze him.

It'd be great to see him back in the prog - I don't think we should hold it against him that he is an old schoolfriend of sharky's. ;)
