Complete PJ Maybe
« on: 30 October, 2006, 02:21:30 PM »
Got this on saturday. Great book and all, but I noticed it hasn't got the lovely matt finish all other Rebellion tpbs have. While I'm not likely to lose sleep over it, I'm wondering if I've got a duff copy, or will all future books be like this?
Anyone else got it yet?

No all future books will not be like this and apologies that this hasn't got a matt cover. There was a cock up at the printers but it didn't really seem worth withdrawing all the unlaminated covers over.
Again, apologies for this.

Recently at my local comic shop, there was a signing and I got the Batman Judge Dredd Files and I got it singed by Simon Bisley.

I can live with that!  I remember campaigning for this years ago, really pleased it's out.

My only problem is that Wagner will return to him at some point, and then what! :)

This is my favourite typo on the board - ever.

Thanks, Judge J. You're a star.

I got my PJ today, and can I just say it's a great looking book.

I was a little dubious of this at first, because the "recent" EE was the best they've ever done, and I thought it would just be a reprint of that, and whilst the contents are for the most the same, this collection is sooooooo much more.
It's a great book!

Buy it, even if you bought the EE!

This book, is also a perfect example of how future Case Files could, and should be done. Slimming down on content, but reprinting at higher quality, combining colour pages and black/white pages.

Whilst some of the colour is a little murky, I can live with it, if it means we get the colour spreads.

Have I said you should buy this?
Cheers

Yup, I agree, buy it, it's great! The extras are lovely but Liam's recolouring is a bit erm... strange in parts.

And PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE Jonathan, can we keep the casefiles going once we get to the colour strips?

Ta,

Pete.
