That's the original Tharg mask from all the photo stories, that is.

Buttonman's hyper-anal letter writing database must almost have got to the Simon Pegg years by now.

They described it as abit like 'X-files' meets up with 'Northern Exposure'

Interesting. I loved Northern Exposure and I loved Spaced. Always thought X Files was a bit shit though.

Anyway, doesn't Tim mention the death of Johnny Alpha at some point in Spaced? And he says Babaylon 5's a big pile of shit.
This fool got more comic books than a motherfucker!

Try Sapphire & Steel, the most underrated & elegant of all TV fantasy shows.

I used to love Sapphire and Steel. The guy with no face scared the shit out of me. The only thing I didn't like about it was it didn't refer to the death of Johnny Alpha.

But it was a Final Solution reference, which is the story that never happened, remember?

'Just remember whose shoulder you cried on when Sarah left.  And when Johnny Alpha was killed by that big flying thing in 2000 AD.'

I have long wanted to see 'spaced' and have also wished I could trick an employer into paying me a dollar for each time I'm told that Spaced references the death of Johnny Alpha.

at the moment, it's a toss-up between slowly watching B7 again, in case there's something I've missed, or the Complete Dangerman

Go for the complete Dangermouse.

Or Life on Mars, (buy the DVDs from play.com or amazon.co.uk, they're the same region in the UK as Japan, aren't they?)

Or Survivors

If you've not yet got around to it, The Prisoner is well worth a watch. Or re-watch, if you've already seen it.

Yeah, I though that guy looked abit like Stephen Fry with slight afro.

That's Gareth Thomas as Blake - you might have seen him recently in Torchwood.  He's the old bloke in the one about the Ghost Machine thingy.

Stephen Fry would have been about 19 or 20 at the time - and in prison...

all of The Prisoner again would be a great idea Fegbarr, but it's so good as to not be nerdy
