Treat 'em mean to keep 'em keen, and the odd dig in the beak to keep 'em in line so they don't go embarrassing people with their stupid ideas and opinions.

I'm pretty sure I'm joking, but god knows with 2000ad these days.

Cruel is ok- but ten seconds to make your pitch?
That's just silly. Most folk would have been nervous enough without that added pressure. And while I never saw it- I did hear from a reliable source that some folk didn't even get started before the buzzer went on them!

Well, there should be a lot more fodder for Future Quake.... ten seconds is daft, and was an oversight of the organizers I feel. The first session should have been an hour at least. And yes, some folks didn't even manage to stammer their name and the name of the script... I don't think I mentioned the name of my strip in either pitch actually... oops.

I found out I came 4th, just one place away from the public vote round <sigh>.

I can't believe my lot were the only one's to get sketches!

This is most of Nano-Bolt's haul-

The Strontium D'og by D'izzy.

My daughter falls in love with Rufus after this.

Queen Bou demonstrates the art of fairy drawing.

Once again proving his versatility: D'Isreali gets all princess-y.

And Finally Rufus came and found us for this. What a star!
