techno scare

ok well i'm 37 a very poor techno user and i've been reading 2k since prog 77 to date a subject of dismay and disbelief to parents girlfriends and wife alike (they don't get it).traditionally i've stayed away from computer stuff which is kinda strange given my reading material i guess but now i have taken a leap of faith and signed up for this.
basically just logged on to say hi and see whats goin on.

cheers for the welcome all,humes aliens and er transdimensionals alike nice to know i'm not the only nut out there.as to killing someone and being naked on sundays .........does wasting computer generated types count? naked ? not a good sight !
got a question ..how do you do the picture type stuff on the righthand side of your post?
it's gonna take a bit of time to catch up on this tech stuff(wierd thing is 'i get it ' when it's in 2k or meg) i'll do my besy ,bugger, best to get on board asap.
