Bit of a toughie coz theres so many I love. In the end I decided to go with something that could feasibly happen so took off Halo Jones and Zenith, as these never will.

Dredd by Wagner and Critchlow
Strontium Dog by Wagner and Ezquerra
Indigo Prime by Smith and Weston
A Pat Mills story of any description (you have to have one, don't you)
Kingdom by Abnett and Elson

This is tougher to choose than I first thought but...

Cover by McMahon

Droid Life by Sullivan

A Tale of two Fatties, Dredd by Wagner/Bolland

Final run of Cab Inc by Rennie/Reardon

Halo Jones Book 4 by Moore/Gibson

Indigo Prime by Smith/Weston

One off Leviathan by Edgington/D'israeli

Sooner or Later on Back cover by Milligan/McCarthy

Hmm, just pretend I wrote something witty eh?

I'm being greedy and going for a Summer Special. It's a classic line-up with some predictable pairings, but I hope a few original ones. I've had to specify periods for some of the artists.

Cover: A wraparound, by Wayne Reynolds, of some monstrous time-travel cross-over featuring Dredd, Alpha and Hammerstein caught up in events during the Volgan War. Probably storming a beach because it's a Summer Special. With air-support, so we get some futuristic planes in there, too.

Judge Dredd: Wagner and Kitson (circa 'The Return fo Stan Lee')

Strontium Dog: Wagner and Ezquerra

Zenith: GMorrison and Yeowell (circa Phase III)

ABC Warriors: Moore and Talbot (circa 'The Adventures of Luther Arkwright')

Robo-Hunter: Wagner/Grant and Gibson

Nemesis the Warlock: Mills and Bisley (circa 'The Black Hole Mission')

Rogue Trooper: JSmith and Simon Harrison

Nicolai Dante: RMorrison and Kevin Maguire

ACE Trucking Co.: Wagner/Grant and Belardinelli

Slaine: JSmith and Fabry (circa 'Slaine the King')

Judge Dredd: Wagner/Grant and Ron Smith

Other features include:

Droid Life on Vacation

a puzzle page hosted by Stickleback

one of those cut-away illustrations showing Zombo's internal organs, by Kevin O'Neill (or possibly a 'Where's Zombo?' illustration by the same)

a spread of the best illustrations from the 2000ADonline art competitions

I did and thanks.  And as soon as I saw it after uploading all I could think was "HIS SPIIIIIIIIIINNNNNEEEEEEE"

I got bored of my avatars going missing all the time, thought I'd attempt my own by way of dipping my toes into the water in preparation for the art contests.

And back on topic I'd enjoy reading ANY of these progs.  Still having a think about mine, but it might (gasp) feature someone OTHER than Wagner on Dredd.  *ducks for cover*

I thought my charm, wit and winning personality did that. Well, second only to Godpleton, anyway.

I was going to ask how one breads natterjacks, but I fear what the answer may be!

Call me predictable if you like, but there are no surprises in my five:

Dredd by Wagner/Ezquerra
Samantha Slade by Grant/Gibson
Nikolai Dante by Morrison/Fraser
Lobster Random by Spurrier/Critchlow
Stickleback by Edginton/D'Israeli

With a letters page, an ad announcing the forthcoming Stainless Steel Rat and Daily Star Dredd collections, and a "Thrills of the Future" sneak peek at Massai Ferguson.

A Roman Legions strip by Gordon Rennie & Cam Kennedy

Arh now then I could right that one for you. I know I know I'm too kind. In my masterplan when I start to take over 2000ad one of my main returning strips will be a little something different in 2000ad terms about a roman legionnaire called 'The Thracian'. Its pretty much a straight historical. The first part is written as a 22 page american comic, all but written as a Zuda entry all of which were abandoned as its a great 2000ad strip (when I've re-written it as ever with these things the first go is a bit rubbish!).

Now then Tharg if you'd only publish one of my future shocks we can get the ball rolling and I can unlease all this goodness onto the Galaxies Greatest...

Rogue Trooper: Nortstrom  -- Garth Ennis & Glenn Fabry

Hell, I really should have thought of Ennis writing Rogue Trooper. Mind you, so should have Tharg! Fabry is an interesting choice for art duties - I went for Simon Harrison for mine because of his work on The No-Go Job.

I can already see Cam Kennedy's Legionaries on the page.
