First entry in a monthly art comp sorry the background is sketchy I have little free time at the moment, I like to imagine the actual story would be a cross between '1984' and 'Jeffery Barnard is unwell'.

Thanks guys!,I had more the Meg in mind to be honest, a dark, grubby tale of how Max survives in the big Meg and what would he do if he had the info everybody wanted, but to tell would mean his certain death.Oh and lashings of illicit sugar. I had a couple of bigger images in mind but time and talent got in the way.

Tosh and piffle.  I like it, nicely executed and DEFINITELY something I'd like to read.  All the other early characters who'd fallen by the wayside have had their moment in the sun more recently (Walter's return and moving in with Mrs Gunderson, Maria etc) so Max is deserving of giving us the citizen's eye view.  And lots of shuggy action too, naturally.

Tell you what- If someone can come up with a decent script for Max I'll run it in Zarjaz. Think there is definately a story there worth telling.

However- don't post ideas here, please mail me or pm.

Bolt - are both FutureQuake and Something Wicked next out in October? Will SOmething Wicked be a flat-out Halloween issue? As much as I liked FutureQuake, Something Wicked was great fun (wish I could get those first three issues).

Yup, both will have new issues, and so will Zarjaz & Dogbreath. Also hoping for MangaQuake to be ready as well.

If money and space were no object I'd keep issues in print longer, maybe one-day...

Max is deserving of giving us the citizen's eye view.

He should appear Malone-style in Low Life:Back to Normal as a crazed fatty/uglie/blob, who Dirty Frank has to mentor back up to contest the shuggy championship of the solar system, in order to expose a ring of alien stookie glanders using shuggy balls to ship their product back to MC-1.  "Dirty Frank might not be able tell who's Normal anymore, but at least he knows loaded balls when he sees them."

Better yet, he could be revealed as a relative of Judge Normal of that parish.

Or something.

Speaking of Grant, I'm itching to see the forbidden storylines for Big Dave that were mentioned in TPO......

Any takers for those?

Good luck fellas. I am only able to enter this world of yours thru the  medium of mob phone, so no contributing art from me. And possibly the odd mobile phone typo. Just wanted to say i hope to be voting on efforts tho.
Nice one
