Okay the pre-event of 2010 is going to happen like this!

I shall depart Maidstone on Thursday night of the 25th of March at 17:30 in the Radwagon,
Pick up Gavin Leahy & Peter Wolf at Gatwick train station around 18:30 then travel around the M25 and into North London, where we shall be picking up Mike Gloady at around 19:30 (all depending on the traffic and how fast the vehicle goes). From here it’s Milton Keynes train station when Roger Godpleton & Locustsofdeath! with jump on board, hopefully no later than 20:30. Then it’s a mad dash to the inner ring road around Manchester for our next brave soul Dandontdare. We hope to be here around 22:30 or 23:00 at the latest.
From here it will be the long trek up to a special pick up point for Buttonman in the dangerzones around Glasgow. This should take no longer than 3 & ½ hours so we should be there around 02:00 to 03:00.
As I say this will depend on traffic and bodily fluid breaks.

Just typing all this down has moved my excitement levels up another notch

I will be contacting all Hell-Trekkers over the next few weeks just to chat about the trek and see what Thrill induced things we shall be getting up to!

How close is the Gatwick train station to the airport, do you know?

Most Trekkers have replied to my pm's just waiting on two and then the route can be finished and some timings sorted out.
I've already started stockpiling the munchies and fizzy pop for the trek ;)

don't you mean the munce burgers and synthi-caff?
...because I hate you.

Gavin, I have just looked on the Gatwick site and it is 5 minute walk from the south terminal and a 8 minute walk with a 5 minute transit train from the north.
As you arrive give me a tweet and I'll get you from your terminal if that is easier. I just thought that with there being a station on site it would be easier to get you and Peter there but like I say a tweet from you will be great.
Here's a linky

As for food I am sorry strontium71 but those things are staying in my cellar.

Large48 got his hands on this lovely drink!

But I got this delicious donut, yummy!

We shall also be tweeting and posting on here as we travel along!

By the way I still have those Judge Minty clips on the camcorder so you can have a look at the shots I took  ;)

That look easy enough, should have no problem getting there. Lets just hope the plane is on time.

It will if it knows what's good for it.

Any trekker who is late to their appointed pick up point will be forced to drop and give twenty.

Operation Helltrek:

Mission objective: Brighton to Gatwick train station + liase with armoured personel carrier

ETA : 18.30 hrs.

Failure to achieve the above objective is not an option.

Lock and load.

Hmmm... your schedule suggests you will pass through our sector at stupid o'clock.

I wish you all the best but, in the hope my kiddies are actually letting us sleep, please don't ring my doorbell! :)
