Maybe that's a bit back to front on general opinion but there you go.

I think the general consensus is that the Mechanismo trilogy is stronger than Wilderlands/Tenth Planet.

Imo it all falls into the classic Wagner thing of having an excellent build-up - Mechanismo, Body Count, Conspiracy of Silence, Prologue etc but the actual story itself (Wilderlands) kind of runs out of steam.
