Even with another 6 years worth to choose from, I think that cover would still be tough to beat!

I dont think the fact that theres another 6 years worth of covers to add to any cover vote that'll change the choice from 2003 but the make up of the board itself.
Loads of old boarders have gone and plenty of new ones are now posting regularly. As the dynamic of the board has changed and not so many old sweats are here then the outcome may be different.

If theres enough interest I may think about doing it during February.

That winning cover would struggle to make my personal top 10 if I'm honest, so I think there may be legs on that idea.

Not the most cheerful thread in the world, but for me the most memorable. I still wonder what became of the poor lad. (Or whether he just made it all up and made tits out of us all - i kind of believe him though.)

Oh I remember.

Poor kid.  I believe him too.  Hope he's ok and didn't upset his mum too much.

Want an education? Then read this, you fools!

http://2000adonline.com/forum/index.php/topic,9148.0.html

 ;D ;D ;D

That is almost plausible though given some earlier threads:

Who smells their prog?

Which led to this comment:

That has to be the oddest, strangest and downright peculiar question i've ever read on this board.

And this even earlier one from a clearly malfunctioning droid:

My prog smells funny
if I went 'round saying I was an Emperor just because some moistened bint had lobbed a scimitar at me, they'd put me away!

Sweet. Though I haven't a clue what threads they're all talking about.  I really want to see them now.

The most amazing thing about that thread was Godders being a voice of reason. Huh. Some kinda glitch in the matrix I'm guessing.
