Just had a chance to read through it properly and it is another fine page.
I would like to have this in a print version - even a print to order via Lulu - something I can have all you lads autograph for me. It's top stuff, fine work all round.
I letter all the pages at print resolution, and I know it's something the chaps have discussed, so I wouldn't be surprised. It strikes me as I type this that some around FF's first anniversary, it should hit 48 pages, which would be a handy number ... :-)
Yes the first chapter will be around 50 pages long (I'm just finalising arc 3 and will finish the outline of arc 4 soon, so I'll have a more exact figure then) which seems a good size to collect into a printed version. We are already examining options so will be in a good position to decide what to go for then.
I have also suggested putting out a CBZ collecting the first couple of arcs as people may prefer to catch up that way if there is demand for that (the sheer number of people torrenting FreakAngels suggests there might be, even though it is free to view online) as some people do prefer reading the lot in one go.
I haven't said so in a while, but, I really am enjoying this so much. A massive, well done to all involved and I do hope it continues for some time.
Good, innit? I know Emp and the lads will be cheered by the kind words!
The chaps are going all out to keep it on a more regular schedule, so we hope that Fractal Friction Fridays will become positive highlight in everyone's week ... :-)
Thanks to Matt working hard right up to Fractal Friction Friday we are now up to speed and working a week in hand with a solid timetable laid out, which should help us avoid any major delays. The guest art is in the bag and ready to be coloured so things are slipping into their groove.
(Jim, some storming SFX on there my man.)
Yes indeed - he put a lot of planning and preparation into and it has paid off - particularly in the layering of the effects in that big lower middle. It would have been possible to do that without Photoshop I'm sure, but it'd also have been a real chore.
