Heh. One wonders whether Grant will just ret-con the entire 'future' Red story out of existence. I guess he doesn't have to, but with Wagner rewriting Strontium Dog in general, it wouldn't be a huge shock if this happens.

The word 'Retcon' sends shivers down my spine (in all the wrong ways).
I may have to keep a low profile from the forum after saying this, but: the new Stontium Dog by Wagner & Ezquerra is (despite their normal genius) an irradiated pile of steaming crap. Would have preferred a continuation to 'Stontium Dogs', and I'm sure I'm not alone in thinking that.

very early, very tentative Upcoming Release listings by Diamond show 2000 AD 1764 and Judge Dredd Megazine 119 on 02/08/12. Interesting to note, the .25 cent price hike is already in effect, even on issues solicited earlier.

Very subject to change, but it feels right. I wonder if having one issue of 2000 AD on the list mean... dare we hope? Weekly progs?!

Never happened. Its been a mess. Where 'mess' = since September every month (or two) a stack of 3 to 6 progs would turn up on a random Wednesday (usually along with that month's meg and trade collections). These releases would never correlate with the diamond shipping list for that week. There would be no listing, they would just show up unexpectedly. Then a few week later, they would finally show up on the shipping list. This is basically how it was before the Prog Packs were introduced a few years ago (also, how the Prog packs were treat, now that I think of it).

However, the first week on January this year. Prog 2012 and Meg 318 actually showed up on the shipping list the week they came out. Unfortunately a month then passed before the next Prog was listed (next week) so we've been unable to observe if this is going to be a regular thing. I've got a good feeling Tharg has got things to start working like they're suppose to in 2012.
