Meh. For some reason it reminds me of the worst excesses of anime where things happen with no logical reason, like a certain character is written into a corner and seemingly killed only to start glowing and develop magic space powers that send the bad guys away and brings back the dead - stuff just happens and that's all the story you're going to get.
I think there's only so far the 'dumb fun' defence can stretch in any given medium before you have to concede that things have to adhere to some kind of consistent internal logic, otherwise why get invested? Going by that promo, there's no internal logic on display: physics don't apply, the cast barely register as human beings and cultural anachronisms abound, such as a 1950s girl knowing about the visual specifics of ninja fighting techniques that only came to prominence in the west after the 1970s kung-fu boom, so even "it's all a dream" starts to fall apart as a rationale.
But if the thread is a straw poll of any note, most seem to accept this will be a hollow parade of CGI imagery and the truly dumb thing would be to apply any kind of logical thought to its analysis.
