I welcome feedback from any Dredd authors who would like to make corrections to my analysis of their creations, who can 'set me right'. The more accurate SoMC1 can be, the better utility it serve as a writer's reference.
There will eventually be two parallel lines of books. The 'primary' features SoMC1, Dreddworld Atlas and Dredd In Space, which between them cover EVERYTHING to to with Dredd. They are general reference books.
The secondary are heavily-illustrated (non-profit) role-playing books, which use the primary as their foundation and then--with respect to the original sources--extrapolate and expand upon (for example, I can only create a 'working' map of Mega-City One by taking quite a few creative liberties, since the official material is burdened with conflicts of geography). By 'RPG', I must elaborate that they are 'world-building' in nature, but have no traditional RPG elements (statistics, etc) as I personally detest what I consider an entirely unnecessary level of bureaucracy that bogs the fun down in maths. I appreciate that the RPG books will probably appeal to a much smaller audience, but by having to compile such massive amounts of official data in order to facilitate the RPGs, I happily had in my possession material capable of entertaining/educating a much larger readership.
