Well, the Meg continues with it's winning streak this issue IMO.
Dredd Great one off! Lovely balance of Meg madness, humour and relentless judging from Joe hisself. It really hit the spot, like a nice milkshake. And Higgins does a great MC1 Judge.
Hondo City Justice Good! As an intro to a new character and re aquaintence with Inaba, it hit the mark. Some vibrant art there. I'd like to see Hondo a bit more - I reckon it's different enough to warrant further exploration.
Lily MacKenzie Absolutely love this - good call printing it Meg Tharg! Some character development for Lily as she
guns down a bunch of inmates, with obvious disgust with herself afterward, as if she slipped into auto pilot. It's not over yet and I want more of this - y'hear Fraser droid? More!
Anderson Yeah, it's rattling along ok. Probably my least favourite this month but it's enjoyable enough. But Boo Cook can do no wrong. His use of colour is so
him or something, really rich, really sumptuous and it feels solid as a rock.
Floppie Chiarascuro Didn't like this as much as when I first read it. It seemed too long for the premise on re reading.
Text articles - Ranson seems like such a modest fella for someone so talented! Both interviews were great-it seems amazing Leigh G couldn't get arrested at one stage, fair play to him for having the nuts to keep going.
The movie reviews were really welcome too; I'm always up for some animation and haven't heard of the films so thumbs aloft!
Keep it up Meg Tharg!
