I took the Tips gang to see the Walking With Dinosaurs show a couple of years back.  It was fantastic. But slightly more than £20 a ticket...

I did have tickets for this but when I got back from my holiday, there was a letter waiting for me, saying that the performance was cancelled.

Apparently, they had realised that they needed more time between shows to re-set up the special effects so they had to cut the number of shows in a day.

There was an offer to re-schedule but I decided to just take the refund instead. My lad wasn't particularly enthusiastic about going anyway.

Hope it's good for those still going to see it.

Saw this a few weeks back in Glasgow.

Verdicts...

6 year old son - Loved it

3 year old son - Fell asleep towards the end but enjoyed what he saw (I have to state it was past his usual bed time)

Me - Thought it was ok. Sets are great, costumes good, fights were gash. Dont want to get into story/Set pieces incase of spoilers.

Be aware that the merchandise is well overpriced, still didnt stop me getting a rather snazzy Joker T shirt though.
