This Prog almost a shadow of the one before, but not quite: 7/10.
I can't fault the cover. It has a T-rex on it with the mark of the beast (Damien Thorn). You can't go far wrong with that, can you?
The ending of the Judge Dredd tale What the Hitler Saw didn't live up to the great promise of part 1, although it did stick to the original joke about whether the guy looked evil or not.
Flesh was entertaining, violent and gory, but the pesudo-science bothered me again. This time it was the T-rex's reproductive habits, which didn't add up. I'll say no more. Oh alright then, I will: if you lay your eggs, which will probably take 40 days to incubate, in meat, they will get eaten before they hatch.
Dandridge: I'll be patient.
Twisted Tale: That's a lot of storytelling crammed into however many pages, and a substantial read at 16 panels per page. Quirky, not least due to the ubiquity of tiny people in Bob Byrne's comic strips. Single-handedly raised the Prog out of the ordinary this week.
The Red Seas: The much-needed recaps were slotted in seamlessly. I thought the cliffhanger was unclear as well. It looked as if the crew were teleported somewhere or other and their disappearance was observed by persons unknown on the ground at the foot of the hill. I hope this makes perfect sense in the first page of the next instalment.
