That looks like a whole heap of fun. I really should get caught up with all the Marvel films that lead into The Avengers before it comes out - I've only seen the first Iron Man, and that was ages ago.

Thor is really good. Iron Man 2 is worth to catch up, Thought the The Incredible Hulk was good. Not yet to see Captain America!

Cap was pretty good but had thhe usual superhero film problem of 'great first hour, not so after that'.

I think that applies to all the Marvel Studio films of which I believe Cap suffers least.

I'll concede that. (Though Thor also worked better because it didn't really have an origin bit.)

I thought Thor was pretty decent. The middle section was a bit crap though. Wish they'd spent less time setting up The Avengers and more time with the witty scenes of Thor attempting to cope with Earth lifestyle and customs.

Captain America was ok. I don't really remember what the actual bad guy plot was though. The first hour or so was rather good. Same with Iron Man. Iron Man 2 was consistently bad, however.

Trailer looks good. They do look a bit naff when they're all standing next to each other. Hopefully there'll be lots of witty banter.

I suspect that isn't the title, just the tag for the poster. It would be an awful name for a film

It's also horrid and photoshoppey. Why is Cap Am so big and why is the background so teal and orange.

 Really? That's even more stupid than "The Avenging Angels" from The Boys! At least that was supposed to be taking the piss. Seriously, anything other than "The Avengers" is surely lunacy?

It's like, The Hulking Hulk, or Thilly Thor

No, I think it's just a poster teaser sort of thing too.
Yeah, I mean I’m often surprised by why people expect us to do something normal—they shouldn’t. There are lots of bands who are willing to do all kinds of normal things; people should not look to us to do that. - Buzz Osbourne (Melvins)

According to that article, it's only being called that in the UK, and it also seems to indicate that the full title is Marvel Avengers Assemble...

And yes, that poster is hideous - how big is the Hulk supposed to be?

Marvel Avengers Assemble?? Really? That's just daft. And what an amateurish poster. I enjoyed the Iron Man films (first one more so), Cap'n America was fun but Thor was daft too I thought. Losing interest in this one now.

The small print on the poster still reads "Marvel's The Avengers", so (despite thinking 'Avengers Assemble!" is at least a more imaginative title than Marvel have been going with of late, "The First Avenger" notwithstanding) I reckon there's still every chance this'll just be known as The Avengers.
