Hang on, now I'm lost. Up top, it USED to have links to:

Show new replies to your posts.
Show new posts.
Active topics.

Now the "new posts" one has gone, and so I don't know how to see what people have been posting recently on topics I haven't posted in.

Why oh why oh why can't these things be made easy for men like me- forty years old and with a severe case of future shock that kicks in every time I walk into Curry's? W3BZ: You are a better man than I. Or possibly just younger.

I remember this happening last time there was an up-date. There was a majority (I think) who used 'Active Topics' as Emperor described and a minority that used 'View Unread Posts' myself amongst them, in the end both ended up being present as a linkie from the 'top'.

As it is at the moment SBT you can still find the 'Unread Posts' but you have to click on the link on the banner for each area (where it says 'Unread posts')

Cheers, Colin! Oh, this is all going to take some getting used to- but I think it looks okay.

One thing I would ask, is that the SEARCH function be redone so it makes some kind of sense- I've never been able to work it so it finds what I'm looking for. I can search for a keyword that I know was used the other day, and the results will show me everything, dating back years, in no particular order.

Anyway, I thought I'd change my piccie to celebrate newness!

Rarrrr!

I always use the 'active topics' button, but now it only seems to give you the top ten posts, with the original post in full.

No doubt it'll all be second nature in a couple of weeks or so. Feels like I've just moved house - everything's there, just not in the right place...

Sorry my bad, replaced one with the other. Both there now (although still working on Active Topics)...

Cool I do love the way that when we ask, or mention something it seems like w3bz just gets on and does it. Thanks for that really cool.

Now I'd like a cup of tea...

I said a cup of tea...

Yeah that search is a bit...well...wrong. Not sure I can sort it yet, building a massive custom database for it and will see what happens. Failing that I'll add it to the pile of longer patches.

Peter, it's right at the top, to the right of your avatar.
