Worried that I might be too old, at 53. To start reading 2000Ad. But eh, what the hell. I'm enjoying them.

Never too old! Im in my early 40s, and i dont read the prog simply because 'i always have done' (though there is that!), but because it genuinely entertains me each week. It makes me very happy on a regular basis, and its had the knock-on effect of allowing me to meet some good people here. Good enough reasons to spend £2.25 a week, i reckon.
Do you read other comics? And has the pull of the trades hit you yet?

I don't read any others, yet. But may do in the future. Thank you for your encouraging words.

Don't worry, there's loads of us old farts around here, but mostly ones who bought it in 1977 and never grew out of it!

Welcome aboard

So enjoying 2000AD progs. Wish I had started reading them, years ago.

Thank you all for your responses. Still enjoying the progs very much. And yes, I can honestly say. I will be getting my progs every week, without fail. The artwork, and the stories, are supurb. I have missed out for so many years, but not any more.
