This is no way to make friends.
if I went 'round saying I was an Emperor just because some moistened bint had lobbed a scimitar at me, they'd put me away!

If Mr Meanie has somehow managed to get his Prog on a Friday then fair play to him. Although it is generally considered good form to give, at the very least, a word on each story if you're bagging the Prog thread.

Wowzers what a prog!

Cover - Horrible, in a good way! Prepares you for the carnage inside! I've been in touch with Garry Brown, he said he was gonna send me the files yesterday so I'll give him a lil' nudge...

Nerve Centre - The Krill Tro Thargo is unveiled, very nice it looks too!

Dredd 1 - As I read this my heart was pounding. Wagner does an amazing job of ramping up the suspense and Willsher is just brilliant as ever - loads of little details to make you smile (plus a Dirty Frank one to make you gag!) plus the coolest Dredd artwork you'll see. Nadia is brilliantly rendered in this, very much like the Predator, which is fitting. The last page though, ohh, the last page... it's unbelievable!

Savage - A hoot! The minefield gag is hilarious and the Blackblood/Hammerstein panels are sooo cool. It's amazing how this is mirroring what's happening in ABC Warriors at the moment. Excellent, excellent work from Goddard who has again been outstanding all the way through this book.

Zombo - Goddammit Tharg, you've broke my heart twice in a prog! A really shocking ending (ha! No pun intended) for Zombo with an almighty cliffhanger. Again, this series has been a triumph, Ewing and Flint are gods amongst men!

Sinister Dexter - Lots of exposition in a relatively flat episode but at least it's moving on. I've felt like the purpose of this arc has been to explain what's going on to those who can't keep up, annoying those of us who can! So with that done, let's go for Moses now eh?

Dredd 2 - Aaaagh, if only the story had started a week early the wait between progs would have been unbearable! As it was, I felt slightly cheated, that was until three pages later when Tharg broke my heart for the third time in a prog! An absolutely amazing Dredd with a very menacing ending. I've been purposely vague 'cos I don't wanna spoil this for anyone. Flinty action next prog too eh?

An excellent, excellent prog, that'll leave you shellshocked several times!

Oi! What did I do? I just got here!
And I got it Thursday actually   :P

So as I'm here... can we spoil in these threads? Is anyone gonna read a thread ABOUT a prog and complain it talks about the prog? I'll try and keep it vague in case

Dredd pt1
Holy Fuck. Great story. Gorgeous artwork, especially the silent page of Nadia going all Ninja.

Savage
Managed to be the best in the prog in an issue this strong. Loved Slash's dialogue in the first two pages and the Blackblood / Hammerstein scene. Couldnt fault it.

Zombo
More madness. The Zombo/Obmoz showdown was cool but didnt love the big ending reveal. Sure I'll like how its eventually played out though

Sinister/Dexter
Lost all interest in this. Feels like two characters being forced into a style of story that doesnt suit them. I thought they were supposed to be funny and violent but this has been all "clever concepts" and technobabble.

Dredd pt2
Maaaan, they shoulda left us hanging for a week. Anyway, Bobby wakes up in the shower. Well not quite. Did think I'd been double bluffed half way through but ....   Well, cant say too much without spoiling. Really enjoyed it though.

Hey Rich!

You can spoil in the threads but it's good to use the spoiler tags above. On horrible days when my prog hasn't arrived I know I can't resist looking at this thread, so I appreciate spoiler tags if they're there. I was purposely vague in my Dredd comments but fucking hell, what a great couple of episodes eh?

Can you imagine if we'd had to wait a week between parts 7 and 8!?!

Oh you bastards!!! I'm not a subscriber and this issue wont turn up until next Thursday in Ireland. I have no idea what you're talking about but I am so intrigued the chances of me getting to Thursday WITHOUT reading a spoiler are nonexistant. So spoil away and use as many spoiler tags as you want, I won't have the willpower to look away!

I'm progged up and happy.

Gorgeous art on Dredd, with lots of shocks. My favourite part was the reappearance of Otto Sump. I want a cup of Vom now!

SinDex had a satisfying ending, with the promise of more action to come, and Savage is a great tale, well told. Zombo made me laugh again, especially the last page.

I love my prog!

My favourite bit of the prog this week has to be Zombo singing 'Male Stripper' :)

So glad that the Dredd cliffhanger only lasted until the back of the prog - waiting a week to read the final part would have been mean.  Would have stimulated a lot of discussion on here, though...

Yet to look at Savage and SinDex...
