Battlefield 3 Open Beta starts today 29/9

I've changed my opinion of BF3 now that they have opened up the 64 player Caspian Border servers in conquest mode, it's pretty epic (if a little laggy).

I don't understand why they didn't do this from the outset.

My super shit internet connection took about a day to download the demo. I played it for 5 minutes, got repeatedly headshot no matter which way I went so I never actually managed to do anything exciting. Then I remembered why I don't play multiplayer games.

I'll still buy this, but stick to the single player game as I much prefer a good story to spawn, run, die, repeat...

Have a look at the new TV add for it, i can see where they've spent their $30million in marketing  looking at this add.  Truelly hard to tell whats live action and what in game, outstanding.
