Huzzah! Thanks to the mighty Lee Robson- you will be able to buy copies of the latest from FQP at the Canny Con!

Wish I could be there myself, but this is the next best thing...

On another note, does anyone know if there is anywhere FREE to park near the con? I know a couple of local car parks but will cost me an arm and a leg if I'm there all day.

Have you thought about using the Metro's park and ride thing. Parking is a get in Newcastle!

Looking forward to seeing some of you guys there! :-D

Not a bad idea but thinking of either bussing or training it up. Think it's going to work out cheaper in the long run.

Just heard from Lee robson that he's not going to be well enoough to attend. This means that if you were hoping to get hold of FQP comics this weekend you'll have to visit the webshop instead.

Get well soon, Lee.

Had a great time dispensing justice, free progs, megs and graphic novels to the geordie youth (and the big kids). Looking forward to more next year. Cheers

Mate several people saying how you were one of the highlights of the day. (One of those people got given a zentih issue of 2000ad and was pleased as punch!)

I swear at one point, he looked like Judge Claus surrounded by little kids all gripping progs looking excited!
Thanks so much for coming down, me and Alex really appreciated it!

Nice board turn out all in all!

Gah I'm knackered but bloody great day!

Really enjoyed it and glad I went. Got all the stuff I took to be signed signed and picked up a couple of self-published comics that I would never have known about if I wasn't there. Yet to read them but sure I'll enjoy them. The panels I went to were fun as well. Hope the con returns next year and on a bigger scale.

Only thing I was disappointed with was the lack of back issues/ long boxes. I appreciate there was limited room but hopefully it's something that could be addresse in the future if the con grows?

Can't believe I missed Gronk Guy in his Judge costume either!
