In theory, yes. In practice, it might be difficult to get a date in December when enough people are free.

For example, the only Saturday I have free is the 17th and even that's the day after my work Christmas do, so constitutions may be weakened.

Like wot the Cosh said - my work do is the 16th as well (it's not the Crowne Plaza is it Pete?) I also have stuff on the 9th, 17th and er the 25th. How about a January warmer instead?

Yea, fair comment I'm pretty busy too come to think of it, Yes a Winter warmer in Jan/Feb might be a better idea... The 30th's out, cause we're all out brother ;)!!

I'd have been up for this - I've missed far too many of these meet-ups - but the previous posters are correct that December's difficult. This year, Christmas Eve and Hogmanay are Saturdays, which limits the available weekends in the month.

It's a shame we didn't organise a get-together for St Andrew's Night, but one around the end of January would be appropriate, too. We could call it the Betelgeusian Burns Night and have haggis suppers!

I would, of course, prefer it to be in Perth or Dundee but I'd make an effort to get to something in either Edinburgh or Glasgow. I'd love to see all your honest, sonsie faces!
