Ladies and Gentlemen - 2012's first art-theme thanks go to JTPegg!

"a tribute to the 'Class of '79'; create a new character for the fanzine.  The only rule is it must be a spin-off from something already existing in the Dredd/2000 universe.  If you want to use Heston, come up with a new villain, inspired by a real dredd villain, for example.

Writers can team-up with artists if they wish to produce a synopsis or strip."

The competition will run until this time next month and the voting period will be DELICIOUSLY BRIEF.

Good luck, be careful and don't eat the parsnip ice-cream. The novelty isn't worth it!

I thought I'd throw this into the mix. It's something I've been working on with Locust O'Death since last year, which is still at the concept stage atm. Fingers crossed I'll actually get round to drawing the first lot of pages (1 splash and 1 double splash... cheers for that LOD!) in the coming months.

Here's my entry based on the 1981 Judge Dredd story Pirates of the Black Atlantic which features a character called Captain Skank.
