Glad to say I'm partly responsible for this, many years ago my job in RM was to research and collate ideas for future stamp issues, needless to say I put the ideas of British Comics including JD and 2k in there and gave it a leg up.

I followed the link from your original post and there were two first day covers available. Five stamps on each. They were £20 each so for the completionist in me I ordered both. I'm at work at the moment so I can't check the images but I'll have a look when I get home. Thanks John.

So different to the Royal Mail first day covers then.....

I suspect Royal Mail will do a whole slue of variations for this, like they usually do.

This is going to get expensive I think!
