Two Towers kicked my ass so hard I had to deploy a heat shield to come back down.

Two Towers IMHO isnt as grim as Odboys review, and in Peter Jacksons defence 'this' film 'was' intended to be (after the success of 'Fellowship') four hours long which needless to say would have stayed at least a bit truer to the book. Anyway 'that' was over ruled by the 'producers'...
Smeagol is the best cgi rendered charactor Ive seen. Dobby and JarJar- dont get me started...

I enjoyed it, I assume any DVD special version will improve the movie no end like the first one.  Gollum was very good.  I suspect the movies only really work at their best when you watch all of them.  Because they can't really work as individual movies.

Didn't like the shield surfing.

And the Dwarf tossing...

'Don't tell the elf'

Oh dear...

Oddboy hiya, can I ask you.. are you also what we call in Liverpool a "Professional Ligger" too?

Free Cinema seats/bands etc? I'm lucky enough to be in that situation here, getting to see all bands for nothing etc, Sat night was out in the company of Jon Power from CAST and Will Sergeant from Echo and the Bunnymen, and a drinking pal Ian McNabb from 80's band The Icicle Works (sorry it's off topic, I'll catch Twin Towers when the crowds die down!)

Ed - I admit I had to pay for the McAlmont & Butler gig, but it was well worth it!

Okay - so I was very bitchy about the 2 Towers, but it won't stop me seeing the Return of the King & getting the complete 3 film DVD set when it comes out...
