Judge Dredd Statutes

[Rogue Judge]

As mentioned in another thread, I am in the process of setting up a man-cave. I have never bought a Statue before and would like to get a new Dredd Statute for the cave.

I came across a the following: Judge Dredd Artist Edition Figure - Mike McMahon Version

Does anyone here have this Statute, and would you recommend it? Or is there another Dredd that is more worthwhile? (I like the low price, but only if it looks good in person too). Cheers

It looks great.  Saw this in forbidden planet recently on display and wish I could afford it. If you love modern mcmahon dredd then I would absolutely recommend it.

I thought the other McMahon statue looked far better. The one with three variants. I've no idea how they compare to this one is size or price but I thought they looked much more like a classic McMahon Dredd - with the big boots.

I checked it out and I think you are referring to the Mike McMahon Judge Dredd Exclusive 8-Inch Statue 3-Pack (see below). Personally, I much prefer the Artist Edition Figure - Mike McMahon Version (the one I posted above) as it is larger (12" opposed to 8") and appears to be more detailed. I also think the above version has bigger boots, knee pads and shoulder pads too - for me, it wins all round. However, they are both really nice (those B&W variants looks awesome) and each to their own!

I came accross an excellent review about this Dredd statute on youtube (by noneother than Burdis - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cNSvYo_ev8Q) which got me so excited I just ordered it! Very excited as this is the first statute I have purchased  It looks so good in that video, and I got it for a great price so I couldn't resist - it should be here in a few weeks

Arrived today! I couldn't be happier, this statute is a thing of beauty. I especially like his boots, shoulder pads, and the interchangeable Lawgivers. Very cool base as well

Even the box is a work of art - highly recommended!

Ohh I didn't know they were releasing another Dredd statute...is this part of a series? If so, a King Carlos artist edition would be manditory.
