Just read this in the Megazine floppie and have to say I enjoyed it immensely. It trod a very, very well worn path of reluctant (potential) hero trying to be coxed into doing his duty. It did so however in a very refreshing environment, with the 'exotic' Hindu mythology playing off the very recognisible urban background and characters.

It maintained a pleasantly leisurely pace, that made me wonder if it'd be originally intended to appear elsewhere, while always retaining its fun and excitement. It of course also looked glorious with Simon Davis seeming to relish the images and icons he had to play with.

Its only problem of course is that it ended just as the second phase of the story was about to begin. Though all that means is I really must track down a copy of Megazine 346 and whatever future issue has the third story in.

Siddhas stuff.

I loved the first Siddha story. Never forgot that image of Ganesh munching coffee and doughnuts in his car as he stakes out the hero.
