Brian Bolland interviewed in regards to the plethora of Superhero films that are coming out - here

Of interest to this thread is this little nugget - "Mr Bolland recently worked on new covers for a Judge Dredd collection called The Cursed Earth, which was banned when first published in 1978 over fears of legal action from corporations parodied in the comic."

Will the digital version have the double page spreads joined together, or will they be split like all the other digital books? I've stopped buying the digital versions since they don't join the pages. I did start joining the ABC Warriors Mek Files together myself, but that got boring quickly.

Irfanview's quite handy for that, it has an option to paste an image onto the right hand side of the current image. So open the Right-hand page, copy it (Ctrl+C), then open the left-hand page (By pressing the left arrow) and select Edit->Paste Special->Right. Once you get into the rhythm of it, it's pretty quick :)

Cheers for the tip! I'll have a go on a rainy day in the future.

Is this only going to be available on amazon or are we going to see it in the 2000AD web shop too?  Some sort of limited edition variant would be nice too....

We usually put things up for pre-order a month or so before publication date, so do keep an eye on the Thrill-Mail for an announcement...

A McMahon or Bolland bookplate edition?  Where do I sign up?

Spikes

Some sort of snazzy-and-limited/bookplate-and-signed/comes-free-with-a-McMahon-sketch edition simply MUST be in the offing!

Molch and Tharg are such lovely chaps that they are probably working on this as we speak.....

Tiplodocus

Be excellent to each other. And party on!

A combined Bolland-McMahon bookplate (say, BB Dredd + MM Spikes*?) would be even more zarjaz, if such a thing could be organized.

*Or vice versa, of course.

Wow! Thanks for posting.

Nice work by BB - Spikes dropping a Big Mac in the shadow of the Jolly Green Giant works well. Will that be the final look of the cover I wonder - the logo etc.. The book with the McMahon cover we've seen around looks pretty good too though...
