Interesting Down the Tubes article about the dreadful state of comic displays in newsagents, Smiths in particular. Pretty shocking treatment considering the publishers are paying Smiths to display their titles.

That's a lot of progage, there. Do you ever get an idea of how much of that is sold?

Last weekend I had a feeling of disappointment as I thought my local(ish) WHSmith thrill merchant stopped stocking 2000AD. In fact they had almost sold out and I bought the last copy. A good sign.
