If we were going solely on quality of artwork then Neil McClements, no question. But Nic Freeman's 'Star Scan' is a thing of beauty. After that, probably Goaty2 for capturing the man's style.

What happened to Andy Lambert's 'Crying Of The Werewolf'?

Well this is all my fault of course - there's a new rule basically that the winner of the comp won't be valid for entry the following month. This came into force this month and muggins here forgot to tell the brilliantly fast Mr Lambert before he'd whipped up something utterly stunning. So it's sadly not eligible and he was told shortly after submitting it and was extraordinarily gracious about my gittish blunder. Forsooth what a plonker I be.
