Counterfeit Girl in 2017?

I just had to say this after reading the recent comic strip, I really hope theres more from Rufus Dayglow on the Counterfeit Girl during 2017  I like the strangeness, the action and the characters themselves. I always wanted to know what would happen next.

I might've done the same with the Durham Red adventures years ago (something new coming out by any chance?).

There's a bit of me that wants it to rest as a single story. However wasn't too happy with the ending so another bits wants more and its definately got scope for more as we didn't really get into this whole struggle with Albion thing. So yeah I'd defo be happy to see more.

I thought it was a good story. But I don't know how I'd feel about a sequel. Some stories work begs as a one-off series. I think I'd rather see a new series by the same people.

Oh well, I'm liking the art style and characters, I hope in a future comicstrip story, theres something similar (There are a few other art styles I like also, in 2000ad, but I'll save that for later).

I vaguely remember Peter Milligan saying in a Thrillcast episode that he had intended Libra (or whatever her real name is; haven;t read the final epsiode yet!) to be both an all-new and recurring character. Certinaly the setting is fabulously weird enough that I could happily see more. And it's not as if identity surveillance / theft is going to go away any time soon as a contemporary concern for SF creatios to explore.

I was particularly taken by the virus subplot. I've not come across much SF stuff about the future of disease, and there's something to the idea of following the course of a virus as it spreads from person to person, possibly taking identities with it.

Anyone else seen the film antiviral http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2099556/?ref_=fn_al_tt_1? That's a proper weird/SF take on diseases in the future (in a good way).
