I've just bought one, but it's not clear when it's actually released... are they already ready for dispatch, anyone know?

robert_ellis

They are  for sale now in Gosh in Soho and look great. Only just realised they taken off the caption box top left...

They sold out yesterday but 18 more have been released into the wild (8 left at time of me posting this!)

Are the actual prints squashed like the image on the shop page?

We'd never have licensed them if they were.

Spurred on by the Thrill-mail that plopped into my Inbox last night I managed to nab one of the final five listed on the GOSH! website before they sold out. :D

Shame the caption box has been omitted from the actual print though as I've always felt it's an important aspect of the panel's overall, er, impact.
I'm actually minded to print out my own replica caption box and (carefully) attach it to the print in its rightful place.
Sold out in store as well! They're taking a waiting list in case payment doesn't clear.

Just wondering...why is the part of the post above about attaching a caption blacked out..?

People might consider 'defacing' a limited edition Bolland print with a homemade caption box to be somewhat gauche so chalk it up to embarrassment at my even suggesting it. :-[

I love this panel. 95% because Bolland is god.
And 5% because of the Ben Willsherr graffiti 'Gays into the Fist of Dredd'
Can't remember the story but still makes me laugh.
