Great work. Looks like a tricky exercise to have to paint highlights first and then build up the painting foreground to background from the inside. Almost like painting giant sized animation cells. Guess you are used to that though.

(Unless of course you are painting these from the outside, which would mean I am talking a load of old tosh.)

Thanks, SS! No, you're right - it's from the inside; highlights first.  And yeah, I'm probably more used to that than 'normal' painting nowadays.
