OK I know this has already been mentioned... TPB for Department of Monsterology is in shops on 8th October 2014.

People were slow picking the miniseries up. Don't miss this TPB!

Review, spoiler free at the request of Alexander Finbow. is on my blog.

I really liked the first series and am looking forward to the trade.

Somewhat strange, though, that it is not available to pre-order on Amazon yet.

I'll add my name to those singing the praises of this series. Rennie has created an interesting team of characters, set up some mysteries for future development and written cracking story at the same time. As you'd expect, Holden's art really helps tell the story. It's a lot of fun!

There's a pre-order page on Renegade Arts web-page:

Hey, if you're at DICE this year you should be able to pick it up early (and get it signed...)

I am not amazingly keen to pay the full RRP, in US dollars.

Disposable Heroes isn't listing the trade either, I guess they focus on single issues.

One of the main problems facing independents like Renegade is making their stuff widely available. Near monopolies like Diamond and Amazon don't seem to be making it easy for them!

Yeah, I hope this will be more available through comic shops and such.  Those in the know will seek this out but I think it will limit potential sales of what I hear is a very good series.

Dan Banks

I pre-ordered it from Forbidden Planets website, a very good price point there!

My LCS failed miserably to get the original comics in, despite my pestering uh, reminding them every couple of weeks. I've now made it about as clear as I can that I'd really appreciate it if they didn't fuck this one up and even watched as one of the guy wrote it down on a piece of paper. If they cock this one up, I'm moving my sub to Forbidden Planet...
Dan Dare will return for a new adventure soon, Earthlets!

And tell them that if you end up doing it...

I actually pre-ordered Dept Monsterology 1 & Death Sentence 1 at the three comic shops in Leeds. Only one delivered. Which is pretty poor. I had no subs with any of them.

As I now often mention OK Comics in my Blog & Tweets try to guess who got my order right? My son (a strapping lad of 20yrs) also subs there now. We do both frequent all three shops still... but subs are too serious to take risks with.

Um, you can re-read the issues?! (Hopefully you meant this......)

For the rest, a fine collection, FP Glasgow has a big pile at the moment. Buy it! Cracking script and funtastic PJ art.

Except that you'd miss out on 'The Trouble with Harry' -- an extra 20-page story that's included in the collected edition.

Cheers
