The 'Grandville' Graphic novel series by Bryan talbot

I have read the whole series of these recently and cant recommend them highly enough. Beautiful artwork and storytelling one would expect from Bryan Talbot. The alternate history twist of the Napaleonic War really gripped me from the start, and the anthropomoric characters are ingenious! The humans as the 'dough faces' fighting for their rights has to be seen!  :)

Top bloke Bryan is. Met him at london comic con couple of years ago and he kindly etched two grandville books for me and showed me a preview of grandville noel  :)

Not a big fan personally, my favourite of his stories is still One Bad Rat by a big amount.

Need to get around to reading Heart of Empire one of these days.
