Anyone else note the page count on Final Solution? It's gone from 160 to 208. Perhaps Jon unearthed the 'missing' content after all. Pity the cover's still a big, fat spoiler, but you can't have everything!

I'd best toddle off and update the books site...

Tu-plang

I think that cover is excellent, exciting and not especially spoilery.

I like the use of the Case File design.. actually one of the only problems I have with the current GN line is the cover format of title-up-top, subtitle-down-bottom - I've liked the covers most when that rule is broken, i.e. Case Files, Alan Moore Future Shocks.  Much more striking designs.

Leigh S

Woo - hoo!

I think that may mean a complete sweep of stront... if so, cheers Jon!

Mm. I just did a quick page count, and minus pin-ups and covers it comes to 198. Even taking into account black and intro pages, this bodes extremely well for at least some of the extras being included.

Mind you, as much as I love Strontium Dog (it's probably my all-time favourite 2000 AD series), it's September's Ace Trucking I'm really looking forward to. That's going to be a fantastic book to finally have in my mitts.

Leigh S

Yeah - It's been a good while since I reread Ace Trucking; a real favourite from back then that I dont have as memorised as Stront!

cant wait for the ACE Trucking book. I have a huge soft spot for it especially this cover. I was in hospital for a month after running down the street and having a 6" nail go through my doctor martin boot and split the ball of my foot after I took another couple of paces.
Probably read this Prog more than any other as I just read it and read it hour fter hour whilst laid up in bed.
Next to the wonderfull Wendy Malpazz (sp?)the red haired nurse it was the only thing that kept me sane.

COMMANDO FORCES

A 6" nail put you out of action for a MONTH, no bloody wonder you went and then lived in a tank, ya big softie, lol.

well it did spilt the ball of my foot in half and shattered bits of bone around my foot. Had two ops to get rid of all the bone fragments and stop it getting reinfected.
Plus those nurses were great to my young eyes

Tiplodocus

I want a picture of Wendy Malpazz.  I'm now imagining Shirley Anne Field in ALFIE.
Be excellent to each other. And party on!
