Thanks, buddy. Btw did anyone else's Dredd smell like an auto parts store when they opened theirs? Just curious because mine reeked of auto paints for some reason.

Pete Wells

That's the glorious ThreeA smell. One of the best things about buying ThreeA stuff!

I only have one ThreeA piece (Their Dredd figure) and I noticed a very noticeable smell when I freed him from the confines of the packaging. For me, I guess it was more a 'leather' smell, than a auto parts store.

Not unpleasant, but glad it's died off now,  ;)

Mardroid

Yeah, I think all my 3a figures have a  bit of a whiff to them. Not particularly overpowering, taking up the corner of the room, or anything like that, though, but it's quite distinct.

TheTooN

High end/low production toys do have a particular stink !! Not necessarily expensive ones but hand painted. I absolutely love it, open the clam shell and breathe it in, its the smell of victory !  :D

Dreddzilla

Rather quite on the toy front lately.

Tony Angelino

This was in the latest edition of Previews. Good to see they are going with the proper uniform colour.

2nd Quarter 2017 ends in just over 9 weeks, fingers crossed we see 1:6th Dredd in there without any delays. I'm really looking forward to seeing what he can do, not bought anything that scale in a good few years. I only have a couple of 1:6th Hot Toys left (Marvel) I would have loved to have had Joe squaring off against one of the Terminators but I sold them when I decided against collecting in that scale. Only 2000ad could have got me back into it again  :D

I'd like to hear some news on upcoming 1:12th, Mortis was the last, ordered 14 months ago now. Hardly keeping the momentum going. I'm all for collecting both scales but I didnt want to see 1:6th affect the release schedule of 1:12th which it certainly seems to have done. No 1:12th pre-orders since the first 1:16th Dredd was released.

Dreddzilla

I hear ya, Toon. The last time I bought something in the 1/6th scale was back in '06. So I'm hopeful the 1/6 Dredd is worth it. Can't wait to try the new ratchet joints on the figure.

And really don't mind 3A taking their time on 1/12 releases, easier on the 'ol wallet.

Snap! I've also  been avoiding the 1/6 figures for the same reason. That and space. (The 1/12 figures seem just right in that regard.) The recent 1/6  Dredds have been very tempting though.

Mikey

To tell the truth, you can all get screwed.
