Blasphemy to some, no doubt, but I went to town on my Mick commission...

I always do a (digital) colour job on my commissions.

Its only blasphemy that you got the price wrong. In '78 it was 9p. That aside...

ITS BLOODY LOVELY!

One of, if not my favourite 2000ad cover (actually I think there's a Nemesis cover I prefer) recreated quite superbly and then wonderfully finished and coloured. That is simply magnificent!

Haha! Pretty sure this particular issue was only 8p, Colin but couldn't find enough of a hi-rez version and just went with what I had. Went with the yellow elbow pads as well because in another fit of utter sacrilege, I've always preferred them yellow.

I would have said 8p, but upon checking, it was as Colin stated, and 9p.

Well, I certainly wouldnt mind if you had. But mine is this one - http://www.comicartfans.com/gallerypiece.asp?piece=985057

There is a Guy on the CAF site who does digital colouring - for a price, of course, and I had thought of dropping him a line. Wouldn't mind a few pieces I own being coloured.

Never doubt my nerdery... or to but it another way my ability to looks things up on Barney

Woolly

That is a superb colouring job, great stuff! :)
Has Mick McMahon seen this? I'd love to know what he thinks of it.

Pete Wells

Hey Blackmocco, if you get the urge to colour this, feel free :)

Steven Sterlacchini

I paid a little extra, for Mick to do a digital colour version on one of my commissions.

I suppose this could give you a palette?

The Prog is really good at the moment, but why is McMahon not in it? The commissions are just fantastic, and the colour is great BM, fantastic cover.

And I received this yesterday from blackmocco. Amazing work, and I couldn't be happier. Thanks, Mick!
