Havent had a chance to play myself (12 gig download) but the Alpha seemed fun and this is meant to be even better.

I got a code from a mate last night, and played the first hour or so - just enough to get to the first hub really. My initial impressions of it are it is basically and FPS sci-fi version of World of Warcraft. It looks deep, but I didn't play it enough to explore the talent trees, group interaction etc etc.

I think I must have exhausted the beta missions. I appear to be capped at level 8 on warlock class, and the moon missions aren't unlocking.

Yeh, there's a level cap for the beta. Kinda glad of it, although getting al those weapons and equipment that I can't yet use is frustrating. Roll on Sept 9th!

This looks like it'll hopefully simultaneously hook the Borderlands and Mass Effect loving parts of me, looking forward to it. Got an XB1 code, beta starts Wednesday, looking forward to it.

Yes Keef, it has a very Mass Effect and Borderlands flavour. I also love the MMO lite elements. My friend and I were on the second mission, and could see another player across the map carrying out his quest, too. Other players can also join in your game, if they happen to be passing. Hope you enjoy it as much as I have so far.

That all sounds pretty great, I'm sold!

Tried booting up the XB1 beta on my tea break there though and can't connect to the servers, guess it must be getting pummelled just now! Hopefully have stabilized in time to give it a spin at lunchtime.
