We are delighted to announce an agreement between these two progressive games companies that will see Warlord Games exclusively manufacture and distribute Mongoose Publishing's Judge Dredd miniatures game.

Managing Director of Mongoose Publishing, Matthew Sprange: "This is a great step for the Judge Dredd miniatures game as we believe Warlord is the premier miniatures company and we have always been huge fans of their work. We have known the chaps working there for many years and look forward to working closely within them for many more."

Paul Sawyer of Warlord Games: "We are very excited to be working with our old friend Matt on taking the Judge Dredd game to a wider audience . Many of us at Warlord are rabid Dredd and 2000AD fans and are looking forward to helping build on the solid platform built by the Mongoose team".

Plans are already well underway for the range to be reorganised and repackaged as well as having a welter of new releases added. There are already plans for a hardback rulebook amongst other new additions. For more information about the Judge Dredd line or either company check out our websites:

That's fantastic news.  I'm a big fan of Warlord Games figures.  Can't wait!

Check out Mongoose's new more-than-28mm Hammerstein, part of the never-ending Kickstarter fulfillment - but apparently well worth the wait.  Painted by the always excellent  Roy Duffy.

I should've joined a Paint drying kickstarter!

I've just bought half-a-dozen Mongoose Street Judges miniatures to use as counters in my old Games Workshop Judge Dredd board game and need to paint them up in Justice Dept regulation colours. Somewhere I've got some old (20+ yrs!) Citadel paints but they've probably dried hard after all these years (even assuming I can find them). I could pop down to the local Games Workshop and buy some new paints but GW always tended to be expensive so I wondered if anyone can recommend a source of good (but inexpensive) alternate brand acrylic paints?

I've been using paints from the Vallejo range of late (as well as selected Citadel ones) - a bit cheaper, though I'm not sure if they're hugely so, mind.

I still have my old boxed edition for Gangs of Mega-City-One. Not having brought any of the minatures at all. Thinking it would make a sweet a computer instead. I have new rules for it as well, but could never make much sense of them.

ThryllSeekyr

I meant a sweet computer game, if it could work out that way. No more messy painting minatures, no more fumes.

I know, but I've never been good at that part. Haven't painted any of the minatures I've brought myself lately. I looking for a profession who would do them for me. Some own who wouldn't ruin them. Until then, I steer clear of buying any of the paints. I know it's fun, for those who know how....

I'm not going to try to push you into painting your miniatures, but I will say that it is a developed skill that takes time and practice.  If it interests you, then you should do it.

It is messy though, & requires a lot of preparation, the right paints, brushes, thinners. The right work space, (Which I may have now.) & a lot of patience......especially if your me.
