Ib watched ARQ on Netflix earlier this week. The glove doesn't actually look like the item but the effect is identical to the Electrolux. In ARQ it is more or less a glove with wires.

Of course the second I saw it I wondered if someone read Tornado or 2000AD...

There is of course that thing called coincidence. I've written things that haven't been published (haven't we all lol) and years later TV, Film or Literature 'copy' me.

Just a quick round up of recent Strontium Dog Fan Film stuff.

A work in progress teaser has been shared by Starburst Magazine.

Down the Tubes have kindly shared our 'poster', which is a homage to a private commission we asked Carlos to draw.

The real deal below.

The film is being screened at Thought Bubble in November. This isn't the 100% complete version of the film. As with Judge Minty, we screened a nearly complete version at Thought Bubble, and then spent a further number of months refining it, before we put it online for free. We will also have a table if anyone wants to drop by and say hi.

Edmund Dehn from Judge Minty is in the film. Here's a nice photo.

And a couple of nice photos of Wulf and Harvey.

I spy the collar pins at Dehn's throat.

Truly professional looking costumes. Edmund Dehn resembles an Imperial Officer from Star Wars and you could almost imagine Darth Vader walking by it's so convincing.

For those going to Thought Bubble this year, there will be 2 screenings of a draft version of the film on Sunday.

CrazyFoxMachine

:D Up for this - given I'm sharing a table with Bolt it's going to be a ghost-town around those times!

Steve Green

Just watched it on my projector.

Running at 20 mins inc credits, which is longer than we were expecting, will have to see what might be trimmed after Thought Bubble.

Still some rough edges, but there aren't any major holes thankfully.

Rogue Judge

Thanks for the update - Looking forward to it!

Damnit wish I was getting to Thought Bubble this year as I'd love to see it. Hopefully you'll be invited to the 40th to show it there (hint hint Tharg)

Steve Green

Well on the upside, if it got shown later it would be a refined version.

Cheers!

Bolt-01

I will, of course be available for photo's...

Hawkmumbler

Hurrah! Very much looking forward to seeing this, boys!

Satanist

Saw Minty at the Glasgow CCA screening and it was great so very much looking forward to this.
Hmm, just pretend I wrote something witty eh?

Steve Green

Thanks,

As a heads-up I think the Sunday screening overlaps with John Wagner's panel, which isn't ideal.

Cheers

Steve

Strontium Dog AND John Wagner's panel on Sunday! Garrgh, should've got a full weekend ticket instead of just Saturday
