Are there any renowned comics or runs that you've heard to be good.

I've never read:

Grant Morrison's Doom Patrol
Sin City
Alan Moore's WildCATS

Which should I read first.

He's only trying to be what following how his dreams make you wanna be, man!

You will be rewarded.

Good question.

Doom Patrol's the only one I know well, and I recommend it as really gripping stuff.

Myself, I keep meaning to get round to reading some Will Eisner.

Bico

Maus has sat on my desk for about a year now.
Also, there's been no small amount of criticism of Mark Miller on this messageboard based on the admittedly questionable quality of his 2000ad work, but I wouldn't mind reading his run on My Little Pony.

Trout

Haw!

But you need to make time for Maus. Trust me.

Bico

Okay, I will.  But don't bother with Sin City, Krust.  One of the books is enough to read, because after the second one you'll realise it's the same thing over and over again.

Which one though?

The Amstor Computer

"The Hard Goodbye". It is, IMO, the best of the lot. Should have been re-released in a new format by now, so just Amazon for it...

The Amstor Computer

"...would personaly recommended all of Swamp Thing series, even after Alan Moore left"

Ugh, no. I bought the "Swamp Thing: Regenesis" TPB recently, and I don't think I've read a bigger turd in a while. It takes what had been an intelligent, entertaining comic & lobotomises it. Pants.
