Judge Death as Jack the Ripper is a brilliant idea. He looks the part too, love the flames of hades effect.

Waistcoat and jacket plus the bowler give him the authentic Victorian style and the scratchy pen and cross hatching adds the right texture.

This was my sketch for the Warren Ellis cover re-model for Young Romance comic which I wasn't able to work up in time. Oh well. Amongst many things, the maggots needed more work.
