Thanks Darren

Another one...

Couple of wips ready for brushing up. You may recognise a few of the characters from the house of Candlish and McLaughlin.

Noisy - That RoboCop is Jock-tastic!
Phuz - that Dredd in the bottom left corner of your inks page is brilliant. Got a good McCarthy vibe to it.

All good stuff in this thread  :)

Gret work chaps!

Here's a little pic I've done for Dirk Van Dom. Tiz Buck Tucker from Vanguard (I illustrate these sick little tales too) which is produced by Dirk. It's strange the thoughts you have whilst driving home from your 9-5 job!

Lovely stuff chaps. Here's some crud my pencil barfed out recently.

Firstly, a couple of 2 minute doodles...

and a canine to lizard mutation sequence for a comicbook I've been talking about drawing for as long as I can remember...

Bhuna

Cruz from Buck Tucker dressed as a bunny for some reason or other. Quick tone using the Manga Studio brush

Lots of brilliant art to browse through since I was last on here.
CF out of all the sketches I tried it was the only one I was happy with both hand and gun.
Darren, as I not done a lot of painting I'm unsure what to do so I looked at the WIP images on David Millgate and Kev Crossley's Facebook pages and they both draw quite detailed images first and that's why I went down that route.

Here's a WIP photo of my painting.

It's all right, that's in every contract.
That's what they call a sanity clause.
You can't fool me, there ain't no sanity clause.

Coming along nicely, Filip! Yeh, I think my problem is impatience. I just can't wait to slap the actual paint on, so scrimp on the pencils to cut time. A habit I'm trying to break out of.  ;)

Quick, cathartic lunchtime scribble to blow the cobwebs away.

SuperSurfer

Brilliant work chaps. That 'lunchtime scribble' is amazing, Jon.

staticgirl

I wish i could scribble like that in my lunchtime!

Jon

Ah, thanks. I've not had chance to pick up a pen (or stylus) in weeks. It was getting to me.

I've seen your stuff, it's good; you could easily scribble like that in your lunchtime (though, perhaps, something less juvenile ;) ). It's just a technique to keep speed up, really; broad strokes, to small strokes, and never be afraid to obliterate everything. The rest is just a bit of practice - and drawing certain things over and over until it's second nature.
