Dont know if this would be discovered or rediscovered as i never listened to them at all in the eighties(was more of a JAM, SMITHS, HOUSEMARTINS person) but i have recently found myself listening to Japan!!! I have to say i thought they were pretentious pricks in the eighties but i think some of the stuff they did is rather good. Its a classic example of appreciating something as you grow older......i think!!!
You creeps must think I sailed through space on a synthi-biscuit!

The Justice department has a good re-education programme-it's called five to ten in the cubes.

Been listening to a lot of Outkast recently. They're really one of the great American beat combos. "B.O.B" owns Bohemian Rhapsody and Paranoid put together. It's basically everything good about pop music in five minutes: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=888o1-yi_yk

I feel ashamed but for my sins some of Lilly Allen's choonz are growing on me and that thought just makes me feel sick as it goes against every thing about my music taste.

Thats just the problem I despise pop in all forms.

A friend took me to see a band called Vessels last night and I was pretty blown away. On last night's evidence I'd definitely consider myself a fan.

They mainly do quite proggy, slightly mathy instrumental stuff like this:

...but occasionally use vocals on stuff such as this:

Brilliant so they are, and lovely guys to boot.

Went to see Terrorvision last night, they were the first band I ever went to see (I was 13 I think) so they definitely go in the rediscovered category!

They were fantastic, it was great to see that despite them getting on a bit (I was initially shocked to see Leigh Marklew has gone entirely bald) they were still just as exuberant and lively as always, if not more so. A proper good time sing-a-long-a-gig, I've been humming their tunes all morning now.
